Who we are

Meetings

Our July meeting at Northside Fellowship church was our first in the new location.  We meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:45pm with social time from 6:30-7 and our program starting at 7. At monthly meetings, members get inspiration from guest speakers and from one another through sharing their latest projects and learning new techniques.

The executive board meets separately each month to plan meetings and discuss the direction of the group.

History

Burlington Carousel Quilters began in June of 2012 and obtained its nonprofit 501(c)(3) status in 2015.

The guild was formed to provide local quilters the opportunity to meet at night after their work day since many other guilds in the area meet during the day.

We extend a big thank you to the women who had the vision and desire to start the guild and who led through the early years and concluded their terms in December 2017: Miranda Slade, president; Ann Acquilano, VP; Lisa Rawlings, secretary; and Vernett Zimmerman, treasurer.
